Give the gift of health!

As you enjoy the coming long weekend with friends and family, or quiet reflection on your own, please think about this: We are offering a gift idea that just might suit the discerning foodie, or locavore.

You can now purchase a gift certificate from our farm that will entitle the recipient to enjoy our January through May CSA. They will receive the best our farm has to offer plus quality produce from other farms, local artisanal cheeses, locally roasted coffee, WA grown grains and other local and regional delicacies delivered twice per month, January through May. All the contents of these boxes are chosen with the same commitment to local agriculture and the same integrity you have come to expect from us.

At the time your order is confirmed, you will be asked for the email address (or other contact information) of the recipient. We will then email you a tasteful and aesthetically pleasing gift certificate that you can then present to the lucky duck you care enough about to give a gift of months of healthful and delicious local and regional treats, along with our farm notes and all the other benefits of joining in this soulful venture of eating locally and supporting small scale local agriculture.

Episode 4: Notes From the Farm – Community Supported Agriculture

Since 1994, we have delivered quality organic produce to our customers’ neighborhoods through our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Members of our program purchase a share from the farm. In return, you will receive a weekly, monthly or twice monthly (depending on the season) box full of fresh, beautiful organic produceĀ including a selection from our herb garden, a bouquet of cutflowers, farm notes, and recipes and serving suggestions to help prepare your organic vegetables.
We deliver to locations in Seattle, Tacoma, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Olympia, Centralia, Chehalis and Kelso.

The CSA connects us directly with our customers, allowing us an ongoing dialogue about produce and letting us try new things. We keep members informed with farm notes: what’s happening in the fields and what crops are forthcoming. We host an annual open house so you can visit the farm, meet your farmers, even get your hands dirty if you like. We are farming for you, and are available throughout the season to answer questions and offer suggestions.

Because our love of growing is second only to our love of eating, all of our varieties are chosen primarily for taste. Our produce is grown in season and arrives fresh, maximizing flavor and nutritional quality. We offer an outstanding selection of the more common vegetables as well as an assortment of unique specialty crops. In 1999, we began including organic fruit such as cherries, peaches, nectarines, and apricots from eastern Washington.

By participating in our CSA program, you are furthering a tradition of family farmers who respect the land and work to improve it. We are proud of what we do. Please join us for a season (or four!) of fresh organic vegetables.

We have established drop sites from Seattle to Portland. Please see our FAQs to find the site closest to you!

If you are interested in hosting a new drop site, pleaseĀ contact us!

Our shares are designed to provide ample organic produce for a small family. Exact dates are dictated by seasonal conditions.
