Italian Baked Pears


  • 4 pears, quartered & cored
  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. Grappa (Italian brandy)
  • 2 tbsp. grated semi-sweet chocolate

Place in 375 degree oven in buttered baking dish the quartered pears. Sprinkle with butter, sugar and brandy (any brandy will do). Bake for 40 minutes or until tender. Sprinkle with chocolate and serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
